personally I’ve always been driven towards this career because of the possibility it brings. i have a hard time fitting myself into categories because there is just so much I want to do. i find it crucial to use different element to bring my stories together. wether it be an illustration, a video, podcast, or some fancy photos. there’s almost nowhere i won’t go to put a story together. it allows me to exit my comfort zone and push myself. Ever since I first started understanding journalism it baffled me, and it continues to do so. Journalism can fit any niche and I feel it’s useful for everyone. It’s something I’m just genuinely passionate about.
In the future I’d like to continue bringing a sense of person-ability to my work. I’d also like to continue pushing myself out of my comfort zone. wether it be with writing, photography, or whatever else completes the article. I just want to make stories that give me the same feeling as ones I’ve read and create things that matter to me and others.
