This short audio story came from a street interview. I was happy to interview Kimberly Mills, a mother with an interesting infantile story. The assignment for this task was to simply find someone to interview, and ask them a random question.

I decided to ask about Kim’s first job, I thought it was random enough and not too personal. Her story was powerful and moving, it was completely random but made my day. I still remember the interview because It’s a highlight of my career. I love seeing people so excited to share their story, moments like these are the reason why I want to be a journalist for the rest of my life.
